The Doctor of Physical Therapy program is grounded in producing clinicians that serve, learn, and give. This is exemplified in our Global Studies program, where students establish relationships and develop creative practice models.
Global programs are constantly evolving and expanding as faculty and staff seek new ways and locations for students to study.
While abroad, students are encouraged to embrace local cultures and provide volunteer assistance to those in need. Students can practically apply evidence-based practice techniques during these clinical experiences. In addition, students are encouraged to conduct inter-professional clinical research. This type of health-oriented service learning helps students better understand the barriers patients face in other healthcare systems.
