Duke
University
is to develop high impact basic science, clinical science, social science, and translational research programs to advance the practice of physical therapy and improve the physical function, health, and quality of life of our patients . While building on the existing strengths and assets at Duke, the goal is to evolve the focus and breadth of our research activities towards an integrated and interdisciplinary program to ultimately develop the best models of clinical practice.
Our goal is to develop high-impact translational research programs in the clinical, basic, and social sciences that will advance the practice of physical therapy and improve the physical function, health, and quality of our patients. We believe that research is a fundamental part of developing the best educational programs and advancing clinical practice.
