PROMOTING BEST PRACTICE

Our goal is to be a greater partner in the way physical therapy is practiced nationally. We believe the best ways to achieve this goal are by developing creative practice models and establishing a cooperative relationship with clinical practice and practitioners that will facilitate:

  • Duke DPT students practicing evidence-based physical therapy on their clinical affiliations
  • Clinical research and scholarship for clinical practices with whom we affiliate
  • Continuing education for clinical practices with whom we affiliate. We also hope to have  like cooperative relationships with other academic programs nationally.

TEAM (Targeted Enhancement of Athletic Movement)

Our TEAM program provides a thorough motion assessment by a Doctor of Physical Therapy using the latest technology and science for the purpose of imporving the way an athlete moves and performs. The athlete's performance is improved via a targeted, individual conditioning program and manual therapy (joint and soft tissue mobilization) approach as well as by partnering with content experts in their field of athletics to teach the athlete advanced skills. Our integrated TEAM approach will unlock the athlete within and even assist with injury prevention.

To join our TEAM contact Dr. Eric Hegedus or Dr. Jennifer Moody at 919-681-4380 or visit our link:
